Queens

A queen has obligations.

She takes personal responsibility for fulfilling those obligations, even when she doesn’t love the experience.

She shows up for obligations in a way that onlookers can rely on. She gives others the experience they expect from her.

Princesses

A princess is in it for glory. She looks for opportunities for fanfare. A pretty face seeking buzz.

She shows up when there’s something in it for her.  Onlookers never know if she’ll show up or not. Or how she’ll act when she’s there.

She doesn’t care how she shows up for others, only that she showed up. Or didn’t.
