The new Groups feature looks much different than old groups.

During Facebook’s press conference yesterday enhancements to Groups were announced. Above is a sample of what they look like. The changes are designed to give you more convenient ways to interact with a specific group of friends. (picture one for your extended family members, employees or grad school buddies) They are a replacement or iteration on Lists, which only about 5% of users use.
New features:

  • New layout
  • Ability to share documents beyond photos
  • Group Chat feature
  • Setting for how you interact with the group
  • Ability to make the group closed, open or secret (haven’t explore that one yet)

Have you found a feature I missed. Point it out in comments.
